Originally designed to celebrate the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, the Turnschuh Androsia Tokio Jacket reimagines '90s windbreakers with the traditional Bahamian Androsia fabric.
Androsia Hand Made Batik was started by Rosi Birch on the beaches of Andros in the late 1960s. The designs are applied to the fabric using wax and hand carved stamps, which is then dyed by hand and dried under the Bahamian sun.
The Androsia hand batiked cotton was made exclusively for Turnschuh.
The Turnschuh Androsia Tokio Jacket is limited to 20 pieces and will release on 13 October 2023 at 6 PM CET / 12 PM EST
