Nae is a fan of everything nonsensical. Instead of trying to make sense of the nonsense, the 20-year-old Bahamian believes it is best enjoyed without an explanation. Inspired by her juvenile fascination of dinosaurs, her art certainly presents a child-like perspective that is truly nonsensical.
For Turnschuh, Nae created a series of seven hand-painted decks. Her work is on display from Saturday 10 April in the gallery at Turnschuh.
